Soon-to-be mom Nathalie Hart has admitted that she had a hard time accepting her pregnancy.
Nathalie is on the fast track right now, taking on movie project after movie project since she hit mainstream recognition for her work in the erotic thriller "Sin Island" early this year. As such, she was understandably "worried" that a pregnancy might affect her career.
The actress told reporters at a pocket press conference yesterday, July 25, "The first day na na-miss ko 'yung period ko, I had a pregnancy test right away, and it was positive. Bumili ako ng sampung pregnancy tests! Lahat [nagamit ko] kasi parang I cannot believe,. Nakakatuwa, I tried the 100 pesos, the 50 pesos, the 200 pesos, na maybe may problema lang. Naiisip ko, ‘Bakit kasi mura itong ginamit ko?’”
After getting positives, Nathalie said that she burst into tears.
“I cried! Umiyak ako. Kasi hindi ako ready. I mean, ready ako kasi ikakasal naman ako ngayong December, pero...I was not ready to get pregnant kasi ang dami kong ginagawa ngayon," she revealed.

Nathalie's Indian fiance Mayank Sharma, whom she will be marrying this December, was slightly more prepared for the big change in their lives and had apparently told her, "There’s no perfect time. If it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen."
According to Nathalie, Mayank was in India when Nathalie found out about her pregnancy but has been receiving regular updates from his wife-to-be.
"Bumalik siya sa India kasi he’s staying here, kasi meron kaming online shopping [business]. So, papunta ako sa doctor tinatawagan ko siya, [and I tell him] kung ano ang ginagawa ko sa doctor. Every stage, tinatawagan ko siya," Nathalie explained.
"Sabi ko nga, ‘I’m pregnant, what’s gonna happen?’ Sabi niya, ‘Then we’re having a baby!’ Ako naman, wala pa kaming bahay together, my career. Ano ba?! Siyempre babae kasi mas maraming worries. Nakakatakot pa rin na ito na ito na ang stage sa buhay ko. Hindi lang ako 'yung iisipin ko ngayon, [I have] my future husband [and] my daughter.”
Nathalie stars in the Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez comedy "Kusina Kings" which is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
