Mr. Pure Energy is back!!!
Gary Valenciano took the stage for the first time last night, July 17, at an event for one of his endorsements and it’s so good to see him back in action after months of recovering from his heart surgery and later his battle with kidney cancer
Not only did Gary sing, he also did a few of his signature dance moves! Check out the videos and photos his wife Angeli Valenciano shared from his time onstage:
“His first time onstage to perform again. ‘I will never leave you. I will never forsake you. I will be here for you.’ Jehovah Rapha is alive so he kept Gary alive! 🙏🏻” she wrote in her caption.
“‘I Will Be Here.’ First time to sing since May 3. And the intimate crowd cheered. I cried nonstop,” Angeli admitted in her post. “Praise God! By His stripes, GARY IS HEALED! The Lord is faithful!!!! 😢♥️🙏🏻”
She opened up about Gary’s condition in another post, praising God for giving her husband strength.
“So he was only supposed to sing one song. My husband is back, slowly, with a looong chest wound inside his sternum, inner wounds from two holes in his stomach for two drain tubes for the bypass, a long slice on his right side for the kidney surgery, and [also on the] other side from a drain procedure. Here he is, not quite there but on his way back - truly a living, breathing miracle,” she wrote in her post.
“His outer wounds healed so fast but his doctors said, ‘Don’t rush, Gary,’ and yet he wanted to sing this second song to make everyone happy,” she continued. “Thank you Jesus! Thank you for Your faithfulness! And to all of you out there who prayed nonstop for Gary, thank you so much! We can’t stop praising the Lord for his kindness to Gary and our family. We are deeply grateful for all your love, your prayers, your cards and letters, your posts and messages, the flowers, the fruits, the gifts and for making us feel so loved. What a journey it was and continues to be. Apart from Christ, we could do nothing. The Valenciano family is deeply grateful. God bless us all. 🙏🏻”
Gary also posted about his first time back on stage.
“It sure felt good to step on a stage again after two months... I still have some ways to go before getting back to the energy levels of before, but I do feel stronger daily and God has been supplying all that I need to get better,” he wrote in his caption.
Here’s to Gary getting all his energy back! 🙌
