Pinoys as K-pop stars? These Korean idols believe it's possible!

Korean singer and TV personality Jung Joon-young and K-pop group BTOB member Yook Sung-jae visited the Philippines last Friday, July 13!

During a press conference for a reality-competition show that they would be a part of, the two were asked about what they think it's going to take to become an "idol."

Joon-young, who is part of the K-variety show "2 Days and 1 Night" said, "Talent is like a basic thing to be a K-pop artist but the fact that you don't give up will be the most
important thing as you go through the journey."

Meanwhile, "Goblin" actor Sung-jae said that it is good to learn and gain inspiration from your "seniors" in the industry.

For Filipinos who dream to become a Korean idol, Joon-young and Sung-jae definitely believe that it can happen.

Joon-young said, "I think it's possible since there are a lot of foreigners working as artists in Korea."

Sungjae added, "A lot of Filipinos are really good at singing and dancing, and actually I saw [videos] in YouTube."

Sungjae was a cast member in "Goblin," a South Korean drama that was aired in ABS-CBN, along with Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoon In-Na.

This was not the first time that Sung-jae went to the Philippines. Last July 2017, he went to Manila for a concert with his group, BTOB, while Joon-Yung will be back in the country for a fan meet this September.
