Young actor and singer Khalil Ramos joined the bandwagon and participated in one of Instagram Stories' newest offering - “Ask Me Anything.”

In a series of Instagram Story posts, the former “Pilipinas Got Talent” contestant answered questions about acting.

As he first started in showbiz as a singer, one netizen asked what led to his love of films and Khalil shared a story from the 2015 biographical film “Kid Kulafu.”

“I was fascinated by Direk Paul Soriano’s storytelling and the way Direk Odyssey Flores captured the film,” he revealed. “I started taking on roles that were more challenging. After doing ‘Honor Thy Father’ with Direk Erik Matti, I found a new purpose in acting and [in] filmmaking.”

Having said that, Khalil isn’t picky when it comes to roles. However, the “2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten” star does admit to having a dream project.

He wrote, “I don’t really have a preference when it comes to the roles I play. As long as the story is 💯, I’m all for it.”

“But it’s been a dream of mine to act in a psychological thriller,” he added.

The 22-year-old also revealed in his posts that he was sought-after for theatre roles.

“I was asked to audition for two musicals already but I haven’t found the courage in doing so,” he shared. “I want to though! Soon enough.” 🙏

Khalil also had some pretty wise words for aspiring actors.

In regards to conquering one’s fear of rejection, he advises that you “accept that it’s part of the process.”

“Know what you can control and what you can’t,” he continued. “[And] prove them wrong.”

And as for mastering the craft of acting, the best advice Khalil can give is this:

“Work on the craft 24/7!” he wrote. “Watch a ton of movies. Practice, practice, practice. Find the technique that works best for you.”

Khalil was most recently part of the primetime fantaserye “Bagani.” He was also part of “La Luna Sangre” and “A Love To Last.”
