Yes, Maymay Entata's friendship with Kisses Delavin is stronger than ever.
The two showbiz newcomers, who both got their start as "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7" teen housemates, has been the subject of much controversy due to their passionate fans, some of whom seem to be at war with each other. However, Maymay told DJ Jhai Ho in the online show "Showbiz Pa More" that she is currently working with Kisses to manage the situation.
"Para sa amin, nasabi na namin sa lahat ng mga fans na okay kami at nasa kanila na 'yun kung paano nila iha-handle. Nag-aawayan kasi sila, pero ginagawan talaga namin ng paraan ni Kisses para hindi sila nag-aaway," she said.
A few months ago, KissMay sat down on an interview on "Gandang Gabi Vice" and there, Vice Ganda "scolded" both of their fan bases for how they've been towards each other. According to Maymay, that helped diffuse the tension a little bit.
She explained, "Ngayon, lalo na pagkatapos noong sa 'Gandang Gabi Vice', nagpapasalamat kami kay Miss Vice Ganda, kasi medyo mas naging okay at mas naging open-minded 'yung mga fans."
Maymay continued, honesty radiating off her eyes, "Kaming dalawa [ni Kisses] sinusupportahan namin ang isa't isa. At ako, kahit anong mangyari, 'yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya hindi magbabago."
Maymay most recently appeared in the horror-comedy "DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away" topbilled by Kim Chiu and Ryan Bang. Meanwhile, Kisses was part of "Walwal" alongside on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan.
