The "Kusina Kings" trailer has arrived, and it gave us a sumptuous tease for what is looking to be the ultimate comedy movie to see this July.
The film tells the story of easy-go-lucky Ronnie and chef Benjie, played to hilarious perfection by Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez, high school best friends who have been there for each other through thick and thin. As the restaurant they built with their blood, sweat, and dreams struggles to get off the ground, Benjie takes on the Kusina Kings challenge where they will either win big or go home with nothing.
The trailer made quite a splash online, making netizens laugh until their stomachs hurt with its cheeky jokes, Empoy and Zanjoe's comedic chemistry and of course, that priceless "Four Sisters and a Wedding" reference.
If you haven't watched the trailer, you probably should, and you can do so right here:
"Kusina Kings" is directed by Victor Villanueva. It hits cinemas this July 25!
