Here's what Moira did after someone messaged her 'laos ka na'

"Titibo-tibo" singer Moira dela Torre has received a rude message from an unnamed netizen, but instead of fuming, Moira chose the calm and collected route.

Today, June 7, Moira shared on Twitter:

"Someone messaged me, 'Ang daming mas magaling sa'yo, mamatay ka na laos ka na,' and TBH I wasn't ready for it and almost cried until I realized... comparison, hate, bashers only have power when I give them power."

The singer-songwriter continued, "I know very well that there are so many other people who are IMMENSELY more talented and more deserving than I am, but that only makes me even more grateful to be given what i have now."

Moira then added that she shared her feelings because she wants to be a person who can prove to others that it's possible to succeed without stepping on anyone.

She said, "Posting this because I know that in my time here, I want to be someone who lifts others up, who shows people that we can shine without pulling others down knowing that God has wonderful plans for each one and that He created a world big enough for all of us.🌻"

The 24-year-old hitmaker got engaged to boyfriend Jason Marvin last April. She also sang "Tagpuan," the theme song for the movie Ruel S. Bayani film "Kasal".
