Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez revealed last night, June 29, on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” that she’s very serious about her relationship with Boyband PH member Joao Constancia.
When asked by the King of Talk Boy Abunda if she enters relationships with the mindset of permanence at her young age, Sue said, “Sana, Tito Boy. Ako, I don’t think na dapat pumasok ka sa isang relasyon kung hindi ka sigurado.”
Sue was also very open about what she loved about her beau, saying, “He’s very kind po. Sobra.”
But of course, he’s not perfect, and if she was given the chance to change something about him, it would be his attachment to social media.
“Tito Boy, sobrang hilig niya sa social media,” she shared. “Lagi siyang naka-phone.” 😅
The late night talk show host also asked if her mom approved of her young man.
“Okay naman po si Mommy kay Joao,” she said. “Pero siyempre, kasi nga bunso ako, my mom wants me to focus on my career first which I’m doing naman po.”
Sue revealed that her mom always advises her, “‘Ingatan mo ang sarili mo, anak,’” when it comes to matters of the heart.
Surprisingly, talking about her mom brought the young actress to tears when Boy brought up her Mother’s Day greeting from last May.
“Happy Mother's Day to the love of my life. 😊” Sue wrote in an Instagram post from May 14. “You are the strongest person I know and I cannot fully express how proud I am to be your daughter. You have taken care of us, guided us and loved us all these years and there was never a day in my life that I felt alone because you were always there for me. You protected me and guided me all through my life & I cannot imagine myself without you. I will never forget to thank God for giving you to me. I am so lucky to have you.
“I'm sorry for all my shortcomings. I'll do my best to make it up to you,” she continued. “I have nothing but gratitude for everything you have done for me, but this time, with all that I have, with all that I can, and with all that I am, it's my turn to take care of you. Like dada would have if he was still around. As long as I am here I will try my best to give you everything that you need. You deserve nothing but the best, mi. I love you! ♥️”
Sue admitted that she felt that she isn’t giving her mom enough time and attention now that she’s moved out of their family home.
“Last year, around this time, I moved out because of work. She was very supportive of that kasi nga naaawa na po siya,” she shared. “Nung time po kasi nun, wala pa po akong driver so sabi ko sa mom ko if she would allow me, kung pwede ba ‘kong kumuha ng condo sa QC and pumayag naman si Mommy.”
The distance between them has made it difficult for Sue to maintain the same level of closeness they had before.
“Siyempre po, habang nagta-trabaho ako, tumatawag ang Mommy ko. Kadalasan hindi ko po nasasagot,” she admitted as she teared up. “Sobrong nagi-guilty ako kasi nung sa bahay ako nakatira, katabi kong matulog ang Mommy ko so sobrang hirap po talaga sa ‘kin nung umalis ako sa bahay. Tapos hindi ko na mabigay sa kanya ‘yung oras na kayang kong ibigay sa kanya before dahil nga sa trabaho.”
“I know na mahirap din for her, pero kahit po nahihirapan siya, tuloy-tuloy pa rin ‘yung support niya,” she Sue continued. “As much as I can, kinikita ko po ‘yung Mommy ko. Kung hindi po ako uuwi, kakain po kami sa labas o pupuntahan niya ‘ko sa condo. At gustung-gusto ng Mommy ko na nilulutuan ako ng pagkain. It’s more of kulang na kulang kami sa oras.”
She revealed that she isn’t sure anything she does will be enough to express just how much she loves her mom, saying, “Lahat naman po tayong mga anak, kahit kailan hindi makakabawi sa mga magulang natin kahit ano po ang gawin natin dahil buhay po ang binigay nila sa atin.”
Sue most recently starred in the afternoon soap “Hanggang Saan.”
