Singer and composer Dingdong Avanzado recently became a victim of theft while in the US.
“Took me awhile to post. This is what caused me so much stress over the weekend. My body bag was stolen along with my wallet, driver’s license, some cash and some credit cards,” he revealed in an Instagram post last June 26.
“Thankfully, no one was hurt,” he continued. “Just felt a little bit traumatized by this incident. It really is sad that this has become more rampant in this day and age. Wishing this won't happen to any of my friends and family. #brokenwindow #unfortunateevents”
Messages of concern flowed in from a number of Dingdong’s fans and friends, including actor Xian Lim and talent manager Noel Ferrer.
“Bad trip! Buti nalang no one got hurt! Bahala na ang diyos sa kanila,” Xian wrote in his comment.
“You be well, my friend Dingdong (@iamdingdong_a)!!! I hope you are ok…” Noel wrote.
Dingdong, and his wife Jessa Zaragoza, replied to the various comments and sincerely thanked their well-wishers.
Despite this unfortunate event, Dingdong is set to perform at “ASAP Live in Honolulu” in Hawaii this June 30.
