Heart Evangelista, to leave PH after miscarriage?

Heart Evangelista has decided to “take a breather” from social media and the spotlight about two weeks after she lost her twins in a tragic double miscarriage just one month apart.

In an Instagram Live session last Friday, June 22, the actress revealed that she and her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, have decided that she is to leave the country to recover, and grieve, and move on. She said, ““My husband has decided for me that I should leave the country and take a breather, take a break…and so, in a few days, I’ll be going away for a while, and you know, I feel that I think it’s time to get out of the house. I’ve been staying home since the day I found out. I haven’t really been out. So I think I deserve to go out now and start moving forward and just wait for that rainbow to show up.”

In spite her heartbreaking situation, Heart has been clinging steadfastly to her faith ever since her ordeal began.

“I’ve always been very prayerful, I’ve always trusted God with what He has planned for us…I’ve never ever questioned God. I’ve never questioned what He wants for us or why I lost my baby. I feel that at the end of the day, He wants the best for us, the best for the baby.”

She continued, “It’s gonna be okay kahit na napakasakit talaga. It’s extremely painful, confusing at times, but everything has a reason and you have to be positive. You have to just trust in God that it’s gonna be okay and He has just such a better a plan."

"And I think for me, the lesson that I learned, I was humbled. That I’m such a planner with my life but at the end of the day, it’s still what God wants for you and I get that and I accept that. And I’m grateful because I know that He wants the best for all of us.”

Heart first publicized her pregnancy in May. Her baby, whom she already named Mira, passed away towards the end of her first trimester.
