Actress-comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto shared the "unconventional" family life she has.
On "Magandang Buhay" today, June 20, Rufa Mae talked about the long-distance relationship she has with husband Trevor Magallanes, who resides in the US.
"Nakakasanayan ko na din. Pero nung umpisa, parang magugunaw na 'yung mundo," Rufa Mae said, adding that she used to cry all the time.
"Kasi parang feeling ko dapat magkasama kami dito. Ang maganda ngayon, may chance for improvement," she said.
Rufa Mae and Trevor have a one-year-old daughter named Athena Alexandria.
Rufa Mae understands why Trevor chooses to stay in the US, saying, "Taga-dun siya (Trevor) eh, sa Amerika. So siyempre sabi niya, 'I'm a Filipino and there's so many good things that
happened to me in the Philippines but I have this USA life.'"
Every once in a while, Rufa Mae travels to the US, or Trevor visits the Philippines, so they still see each other.
The "Home Sweetie Home" actress then shared that soon enough, Trevor plans to have her and their daughter migrate to the US.
