Andrea Brillantes, biktima ng FAKER!

Teen-actress Andrea Brillantes clarified in a statement sent to PEP today, June 17, that the post from a certain "Andrea Brillantes" account on Facebook who wrote a challenge to her bashers, is not her.

Andrea stressed that she does not manage a Facebook account. She said, "I would like to make it clear that it wasn’t me. The only social media account I handle is my Instagram."

Here is the post made by the alleged fake profile:

Andrea sent her clarification message to PEP through her talent manager Kat Aguila.

It read, "Hi, everyone. It has come to my attention that there is a statement allegedly made by me that was posted on Facebook a few days ago."

"Kung sino man po ang nagpost, I am grateful for your support, but nonetheless with what is happening right now with the back and forth sa comments, nakakalungkot. The least that I want is to have any negativity or conflict between everyone involved," she added.

The Facebook status was posted in time with the recent online bashing Andrea received from the videos she posted on her Instagram Stories (@blythe). She was shown crying to a new single by K-pop girl group BLACKPINK.

BLACKPINK has made a comeback last Friday, June 15, with the release of their album "Square Up." Andrea's "emotional" reaction got flak, with others mentioning how she changes fandom depending on who is "popular" at the moment.

Here are Andrea's IG Stories as grabbed by Twitter user (@peachyjeoons).

Amid the issue, Andrea said, "Sa lahat ng mga nangyayari sa mundo ngayon mas kailangan nating magtulungan at magmahalan kesa magsagutan sa social media. We are all better than that. Let’s focus on what’s important in life, our families and friends. Let’s spread love and acceptance."

The 15-year-old actress furthered, "Ika nga ni Mama, 'be compassionate to one another'. Sa mundong ito, our ability to experience empathy with each other is what makes us human."
