Toni at Paul, ayaw mag-showbiz si Seve?

Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano are very protective of their son Seve that if they were to decide, they wouldn’t let him join showbiz.

In a report by PEP yesterday, June 15, both parents expressed how they want a different path for Seve.

“I would want him to pursue a different path, different career. But you know, I don’t want to control him also so whatever it is that his heart desires, we will support it fully,” Toni said, adding that she just doesn’t want her son to experience all the grueling things she went through when she was starting out.

“I’ve been here parang feeling ko all my life, and I’ve been through so much in the industry, I know how it works... I don’t wanna see my child go through what I’ve been through. Parang alam mo yung so much heartaches and pains? Siyempre as a mother, I want to shield him as much as possible, and I want him to grow up in a normal life, in a normal setting,” she said.

Paul added that that’s the reason why they travel so much - so they can be themselves without worrying about what people may think.

“We try to minimize it (showbiz exposure) as much as possible, and see how he grows up, then eventually, will have his own life, then he will tell us, and we’ll support him one hundred percent,” he said.

Seve will turn two years old this September.
