Elisse Joson may have a "solo" project now, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to have to do it alone.
Elisse, who has been tapped for a leading role in a new “Wansapanataym” series called “Ofishially Yours” where she finally gets to fulfill her mermaid dreams, told PEP recently that McCoy has been a source of unconditional support as she took on her very first TV project outside of their love team.
Lagi kaming nag-uusap, lagi siyang nagbibigay sa akin kung anong dapat gawin,” she said.
McCoy, who is not without his own projects, headlining an upcoming episode of "Maalala Mo Kaya" this June 2, says he's ecstatic to watch Elisse grow into her own as an actress.
"Masaya, positive sa ngayon, kasi pwede niyang ipakita ‘yung pwede niyang mapakita sa iba na walang love team...proud kami sa isa't isa,” he said.
For some of their fans, though, their brief separation has been a divisive subject. Some support it, others would prefer to see them together. However, the pair remains thankful for their base and said they will continue to work hard to see them happy.
McLisse most recently made their TV appearance in the hit primetime series “The Good Son”. They also starred in the 2017 reboot of "Ang Panday” topbilled by Coco Martin.
