Trolls and fake accounts are an unfortunate part of celebrity culture, but someone somewhere has to draw the line and that person just might be Sofia Andres.
Sofia's fans brought multiple cases of identity fraud to her attention; the posers had created fake "real" accounts on Facebook and BIGO Live. Concerned, the former "Bagani" actress took to her Instagram Stories today, May 7, to speak out against the issue.
She wrote, "I have no Facebook," she wrote, "so if you guys are talking to someone that uses my identity, please be aware. It is not me...I hope that this poser will stop using me. It's okay to support as a fan but stop pretending you [are the real me]."
She continued, "I know that having a poser in this industry is normal but fooling someone isn't. Please stop this."
