Marco Gallo and Juliana Gomez have recently been the hot topic on social media because of viral photos of them together!
In an exclusive interview with us today, May 3, at the special block screening event of "DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away," organized by "Pinoy Big Brother" formerhousemates, Marco finally set the record straight.
Marco shared that he and Juliana first met at a promo shoot for a clothing brand. At that time, they knew nothing about each other. He didn't even know that Juliana's parents were high-profile celebrities (Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez).
"Wala kaming connection [before]. I never knew his dad [Richard Gomez] before kasi siyempre taga-Italy ako, wala akong alam from here," he said. "Siyempre nung una nagkakahiyaan pa kami [sa shoot], parang tingin-tingin lang. Na-curious ako, parang 'bakit kaya?'"
After that, things started to take a good turn. "So, nag-usap kami after some days. Tapos naging super close kami straight away So 'yun, people misunderstood na kami na. Pero we're not yet [together]... I never saw this coming, 'yung friendship namin. I'm so glad because of [the clothing brand] na I had this chance to meet her."
Marco also became Juliana's prom date last Sunday, April 29.
The former "Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7" housemate shared, "I was supposed to go [sa prom ni Juliana], pagkatapos bigla na lang, days before, sabi sa akin, 'Ay Marco, hindi ka puwede pumunta, may taping ka.'"
Marco, of course, didn't want to disappoint Juliana. "As in every night I prayed na, 'Lord, please, sana ma-cancel ang taping ko.' In the end, na-cancel and 'yun nakapunta ako sa prom kasama siya."
He continued, "Sa Italy, walang existing na prom na ganun. Ito 'yung first. Iba siya, walang camera, siyempre may picture-an, pero hindi nakatutok sa'yo 'yung mata ng mga tao. You can act kung sino ka talaga. Puwede kayo mag-usap na walang tumitingin sa inyo. Pagkatapos lahat ng mga tao, hindi ka kilala. So, thanks Lord. So, naging really fun 'yung prom na 'yun. It was like, I never want it to end."
And to put the "relationship" rumors to rest, Marco said, "We'll see kung anong mangyari, pero for now, I don't want to lose her. Ever. [She's] a special person for me. And that's what I can say for now."
