Star Cinema actors and actresses took home major awards at the 49th Box Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.!
Yesterday, March 20, at the awards night, Kapamilya stars graced the occasion and accepted the trophies that recognized their achievements in the film industry.
The Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema award were given to Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, and Pia Wurtzbach for their certified box office hit movie "Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad".
Vice said in his speech, "Nakakatuwa, kasi 'yung kauna-unahang nagbigay sila ng Phenomenal Box Office award, ako 'yung una nilang binigyan. Ito 'yung pang-pito. Ako pa rin 'yung binigyan nila. Maraming salamat, seven straight. Salamat po."
Box Office King and Queen awards went to Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano for their movie "My Ex and Whys".

Film Actor of the Year was given to both "Seven Sundays" actors Aga Muhlach and Dingdong Dantes.
Aga was also given the Corazon Samaniego Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the film industry.

Matteo Guidicelli, meanwhile, brought home the Movie Supporting Actor of the Year award for his performance in "Can't Help Falling in Love".
"Seven Sundays" actress Cristine Reyes was named Movie Supporting Actress of the Year.
"Unexpectedly Yours" stars Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto took home the award for Most Popular Love Team of Movies and TV.
And veteran actor Robin Padilla was given the All-Time Favorite Actor recognition.
