Vice Ganda has a fierce message for those who still discriminate against the LGBT community.
On “It’s Showtime” yesterday, the comedian called out those who brand gays and lesbians as “kadiri,” following an incident where he was bashed for “flirting” with a male friend on Twitter.
“Pampasaya lang naman, pampa-laugh trip [‘yung ginawa namin]… tapos ang reaction ng mga tao, ‘Yuck, bakla! Manggagamit ‘yan!’ Bakit ganun ‘yung mga utak ng tao? Hindi ba talaga pwede na ‘yung babae, tomboy, ‘yung lalaki, bakla?” he asked.
Vice further wondered why there’s so much hatred for gays when they don’t affect anyone’s lives negatively.
“Naghihirap ba kayo kapag may lalake at bakla na mag-jowa? Diba hindi naman?” he said. “Why don’t we just allow everyone to be happy?”
Vice ended by saying there’s nothing wrong with loving - no matter the sexual preference.
“Let’s be happy for everyone, and let’s not fight,” he said.
