Star Music has welcomed two young singers to their roster last Friday, May 11 -- K-pop idol Kriesha Chu and child prodigy Jayda Zaragoza-Avanzado!
Kriesha is a Filipina singer based in South Korea. She is known for her Korean hit song "Trouble," which will now have a full English version set to be released by Star Music.
Also in the works for Krisha is a series of singles under Tarsier Records (Tarsier Records: Tarsier Records aims to introduce new wave of music to PH - and beyond [link]), still under the Star Music label.
14-year-old Jayda Zaragoza-Avanzado, daughter of OPM legends Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado meanwhile, is set to release an EP!
Jayda co-produced her EP titled "In My Room," with Star Music audio and content head Jonathan Manalo.
"Sobrang clear kasi in her mind kung ano 'yung maging gusto niyang tunog as an artist, so as an experienced producer, I try to translate," Jonathan said, adding that Jayda really is the creative driver of the whole project.
