Ai Ai delas Alas continues to show deep love and affection for her showbiz "anak", "Tanging Ina" co-star, Jiro Manio, whom she threw a very special 26th birthday celebration for last May 9.

The veteran actress shared footage from the former child star's party on her Instagram.

In the caption, she wrote, "Happy birthday Jiro, ang aking anak sa pelikula at sa totoong buhay. Happy birthday, 'nak. Many more to come."

She continued, "Ang wish ko for you maka balik ka na ng tuluyan sa mundo ng showbiz at tuluyan na din ang iyong pag babago. GOD BLESS YOU MORE!"

Ai Ai came to Jiro's aid back in 2015 when he had been declared homeless and was found wandering in a drug-induced haze at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). He had been placed in rehab shortly thereafter. Ai Ai was a source of support and saw him through his release in 2017.
