Bea declares: 'Maraming movie queens ang generation natin'

"Nakaka-flatter po."

That's how Bea Alonzo feels every time someone calls or tags her as this generation's Movie Queen.

At the Grand Media Launch of her highly-anticipated film "Kasal" last Tuesday, May 8, the acclaimed Kapamilya actress expressed how happy she is that her works many people have come to love her work.

"Sa totoo lang first love ko talaga ang paggawa ng pelikula," Bea revealed.

"Eto talaga 'yung medium na nae-enjoy ko the most," she added.

"So I guess all I can say is thank you," she happily stressed.

Nonetheless, Bea strongly believes that she's not the only Movie Queen of her generation.

"Para po kasi sa'kin marami namang movie queens ang generation natin. Andyan sina Angel Locsin, sina Angelica Panganiban," she said.

Bea has already been in the industry for 16 years and has done 57 projects, including 22 blockbuster movie projects.

Indeed, she's a Movie Queen. ❤

Meanwhile, catch her as Lia this May 16 in "Kasal," directed by Ruel S. Bayani.

Co-starring with her are two of the hottest leading men in the country: Derek Ramsay and Paulo Avelino.

"Kasal" follows the story of Lia Marquez (Bea), a simple lass who is set to marry Cebu's most eligible bachelor, Philip Cordero (Paulo), who is currently running to clinch the mayoral position after his father's term ends.
