3 reasons 'I Feel Pretty' will be your new fave movie

The upcoming film "I Feel Pretty" has been subject to much buzz and for good reason - it combines the magic of comedian Amy Schumer and the hilarious "average girl thinks she's a supermodel" premise we didn't know we wanted.

Here are three things you absolutely need to know about this uproarious comedy flick before it hits Philippine cinemas:

1. Be prepared to laugh until your sides hurt.

"I Feel Pretty" is about Renee, a woman who struggles with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy on a daily basis [and] wakes from a head injury. She begins believing she is suddenly the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. With this newfound confidence, she is empowered to live her life fearlessly and flawlessly.

Just imagine, an average woman who thinks she's as attractive as the Gigi Hadids and the Liza Soberanos of this world. Wow lang!

If you want more proof that this will make you LOL, you can watch the trailer here:

2. It's gonna be an emotional roller coaster - in the way we all know we love!

MamaMia's Laura Brodnik reviewed the film and she said, "It can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster when you sit through a movie that has you snort laughing one moment, and then tearing up the next."

We'll get to see Renee as she embraces her "GGSS" confidence, and that's something we can all relate to on some level. We're all a little insecure on the inside, and we all love a good laugh and a good cry. And we're not averse to getting a lotta bit of both in an Amy Schumer flick.

3. It's got a star-studded cast.

"I Feel Pretty" has enough star power to blind us all into submission. Directed by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, it stars the Academy Award-nominated actress Michelle Williams, the impossibly beautiful Emily Ratajkowski, Rory Scovel, "Saturday Night Live" comedian Aidy Bryant, Busy Phillips, Tom Hopper, and of course, the Queen herself, Naomi Campbell.

Amy Schumer, who is responsible for the hilarious 2015 hit "Trainwreck", as well as the 2017 comedy-action movie "Snatched", leads the cast.

"I Feel Pretty" will hit Philippine cinemas very soon!
