It’s easy assume that a good-looking guy like Hero Angeles would never run out of romance in his life. But he wants everyone to know that he’s single and fine by it.
Besides, it’s not like he’s got no one special in his life.
On “Tonight with Boy Abunda” last night, April 4, the returning actor shared that he’s just waiting for a certain someone to be ready and soon, he’ll be joining his fellow “Star Circle Quest” alums who have already settled down.
"Yes, may hinihintay. Matagal na din. Siguro 'yung last hindi ko na mabilang,” said Hero. “Sa'kin kasi 'pag may nagtatanong, 'Uy, 'yung mga ka-batch mo, nag-asawa na lahat.'"
This “SCQ” batch includes Joross Gamboa, Roxanne Barcelo, Melissa Ricks, Michelle Madrigal, Neri Naig, Joseph Bitangcol, Errol Abalayan, and Raphael Martinez.
The only other ex-Questor who hasn’t become a wife or a parent yet is Hero’s former love team partner Sandara Park.
Of course, we all know Sandara (or Dara) turned out to be one of the most loved K-pop stars in the world as a member of the girl group 2NE1 after taking a hiatus from Philippine showbiz in 2007.
Hero admitted that he hasn’t had the chance to talk to Sandara yet since their last film “Can This Be Love?” in 2005.
"Hindi pa kami nagkakausap ulit,” he said.
The self-proclaimed “visual artist” added that he doesn’t actually know what he would tell her if they do meet again, but he’s very much willing to work with her again.
"Ang nakakatuwa doon, nung papunta ako dito, ang nakasalubong ko si Direk Cathy [Garcia-Molina], first director namin sa movie (‘Bcuz of U’), tapos first movie niya kami din 'yung hinandle niya. Sabi niya, 'Sana magka-movie tayo ulit.' Sabi ko, 'Sana talaga.'"
Later on the nightly talk show’s “Fast Talk” segment, Hero was asked if he was ever a fan of K-pop and he replied, “Isa lang kasi kilala ko dun,” before the audience shrieked with kilig.
