Yesterday, April 29, Moira Dela Torre and boyfriend Jason Hernandez surprised everyone with their engagement announcement that was embedded in the "Tagpuan" music video, launched during "Gandang Gabi Vice."
(See related story: "Moira Dela Torre and Jason Hernandez are engaged!")
When everyone thought it was part of the video's script, Vice Ganda congratulated the love birds and clarified that they are indeed ENGAGED. ❤
"When Kuya Pratty (John Prats) and I were conceptualizing the whole music video, buhay ko talaga," Moira shared, stressing that she was really clueless about the proposal.
"So I come from a broken family and we wanted to incorporate na just because you come from a broken family, doesn’t mean your future is going to be broken also. So that was the story pero hindi ko alam na dun pala siya magpo-propose," she added.
Jason echoed his now fiance's revelation adding, "oo, akala niya doon sa last part magtatagpo lang kami pero hindi niya alam nakikipag-kuntsaba na ako kay Kuya John while planning the music video."
Moreover, on their respective Instagram accounts (@jasonmarvinph and @moirarachelle), Moira and Jason shared their thoughts and feelings about this "surreal" event.
"On a cliff at sunset, my best friend asked me the easiest question I have ever had to answer. I love you @jasonmarvinph!" Moira said in her caption.
Jason, on the other hand, expressed how grateful he is to have found "the one".
"All my life I’ve been searching for 'the one,' not knowing that she’s been my bestfriend all along. I love you forever my @moirarachelle ❤" Jason said in the caption.
In another post, he happily relayed, "soon, I won’t be walking alone anymore."
Sobrang goals naman these two. ❤
Moira also thanked everyone who gave them well-wishes on her Twitter account (@moirarachelle4).
Just look at how the people close to them reacted upon finding out. ❤
We're happy but Moira and Jason are the happiest for sure. Congratulations! ❤
Meanwhile, "Tagpuan" is the theme song of the highly-anticipated film "Kasal," starring Derek Ramsay, Paulo Avelino, and Bea Alonzo.
The film, directed by Ruel S. Bayani, will be out in cinemas starting May 16!
