“Of course, I’m more than excited,” he said in an interview with PUSH. “It’s an understated excitement. I’m working with the actresses that I look up to - feeling ko kakabahan talaga ako ‘pag nag-start na kami.”
Arjo revealed that his new role is very different from his previous ones.
“This is the most challenging role I’ll ever do on television, it’s crazy,” he said. “I told my mom (Sylvia Sanchez) and Tita Maricel as well when we had dinner couple of days ago. Sabi ko, ‘Tita, I don’t know how I am going do it.’ Sabi niya, ‘You just have to believe in yourself.’ And she’s just there to guide me.”

The 27-year-old actor also admitted that he’s excited to experience one of Maricel’s famed slaps if the show would call for it.
“It’s an experience you know. I’m not scared to experience anything like that. She slaps hard, that’s her eh, what can I do? That’s her emotion as an actress and I respect her,” he said.
In another interview with PEP, Arjo revealed his first impression of the Diamond Star.
“She’s real. Isa sa pinakatotoo sa showbiz. She’s very real,” he said. “She has no filter. She’s very frank. Very, very kind and loving sa mga kaibigan niya.”
Arjo’s latest project, the afternoon soap “Hanggang Saan,” just ended its run last April 27.
