ABS-CBN has started Star Hunt -- their biggest audition event!
We all know that if you want to enter showbiz, one of the things you have to do is to audition. And we mean it -- audition, audition, audition! It takes a lot of patience and strong will but taking chances will soon get you to where you want to be.
Among the young artists of today, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, also have their own audition stories, which they shared when they visited a Star Hunt event last weekend.
To recall, the two both came from the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7," that would launch them into the young stars that they are now. In a video uploaded by ABS-CBN Entertainment last Tuesday, April 24, Maymay shared why her "PBB" audition was memorable.
Dun pa lang gusto ko nang sumuko (laughs)," she said, implying that she's not beautiful enough. But her ever-supportive tandem Edward interjected, "Maganda ka naman eh."
Basta go lang nang go."
Edward, meanwhile, shared that he did an online auditon. "Nasa Germany ako nun. Kaya nag-Skype audition ako ng ilang beses. Tapos grabe nakakakaba."
"'Oh my god Edward, Skype lang 'to bakit ka kinakabahan...' Kasi bawat question, parang life or death, parang ganun," he continued.
The two then gave advice to those who are auditioning for Star Hunt.
As for Edward, to be genuine is the way to go. "Magpakatotoo lang kayo. 'Yun nag pinakaimportanteng ipakita niyo. Be yourself, be true to who you are."
