Legendary host Oprah Winfrey has given "I Feel Pretty" her golden seal of approval.
In a sit-down interview with its lead actress Amy Schumer last April 22, the Queen of Everything praised the body-positive comedy for how impressively it balanced real "LOL" moments with its empowering message.
She said, "You walk out of that film, and you feel what the embodiment of empowerment is. You feel good about you, and I think you just can't do better than that as an artist."
"You walk out, you feel good about you and less judgmental about other people," she continued, "and if you can do that in a film, and make people laugh. Come on, Amy Schumer!"
