Dumating na ang 'Best Day' sa buhay ni Zsa Zsa!
To celebrate her 35th year in showbiz, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla will have a one-day only concert entitled “Best Day of My Life” on May 11 which will feature her two talented daughters, Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon and Zia Quizon.

“We named the concert ‘Best Day of My Life’ because all mothers can identify with this,” she revealed in a recent interview with PUSH. “When you’re with your children, you feel like it’s the best day of your life.”

She furthered, “We’re featuring a combination of songs that will feature me, Zia, and her sisters. [Like], K (Karylle) and I we used to sing a song together when she was just starting her career - we would sing ‘Thank you.’ [We want] something that’s really not that exposed yet kasi we only get to do it in special shows. We want to do more of that.”

“And I haven’t really performed with Yael (Yuzon) yet. Yael’s going to be in this show,” she added.

Though she’s performed with Karylle and Zia separately, they’ve only ever performed together once in a show in Australia.

“It’s nerve-wracking kasi when you perform on stage - are you going to be a parent or a performer? Medyo nakaka-conscious para sa akin,” she admitted. “We always hold hands para we’re comfortable.”

The former “Wildflower” cast member revealed that she finds singing with her eldest daughter quite challenging.

“Actually kaming dalawa ni K, it’s hard when we sing together kasi magkaboses kami [nang] grabe,” she said. “With Zia, she has a very unique kontra alto voice kaya there’s a distinction. It’s always fun. I hope for it to be a good experience for the audience.”

And because they’re all artists, one would think Zsa Zsa would give her daughter advice about singing when in fact, she doesn’t.

“Siguro kung meron akong advice na binibigay, ‘yung more on the business side, ‘yung mga practical like ‘Don’t ever be late,’ mga ganyan,” she said. “I’m a stickler for time,”

“They spend so much time developing their own style so ang hirap nga kasi we’re in the same profession,’” she added. “So I really give them so much freedom to develop it more.”
