Ryan, 'di makapaniwalang ipinareha kay Kim!
The fun never stops with Kim Chiu and Ryan Bang!
The two, lead stars of the horror-comedy film "DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away" guested last Saturday, April 14, on the noontime program "It's Showtime," where they were congratulated by the hosts.
Iba ka, you've arrived."
"DOTGA" is Ryan's first starring role in a movie, and so his co-hosts on "It's Showtime" are extra happy for him.
"We're so proud of you, Ryan. This is a major achievement for you," Anne Curtis said.
Anne also mentioned that Kim looked very happy on the Instagram Stories she shared about the movie.
And when asked about her working dynamics with Ryan, who is a native from Korea, Kim said, "Kung gaano siya kasaya dito sa 'It's Showtime,' triple 'yung saya na binigay niya sa movie, siyempre all-out siya dun."
Meanwhile, Ryan is thankful that he got paired up with Kim, even joking about how lucky he is and how she must have felt acting alongside him.
"Kim, maraming-maraming salamat dahil tinanggap mo 'to, alam ko mahirap sa'yo. Siyempre lahat ng naging leading man mo, gwapo, heartthrob. Pero alam ko ito 'yung parang challenge din sa'yo," he said.
Kim downplayed the praise saying, "O bakit, oppa ka kaya."

"DOTGA" starts with the story of paranormal expert Carmel Monseratt (Kim Chiu). Wanting to save the house of her beloved grandmother from being sequestered, Carmel and her “bebest” best friend Jerald “Jeje” Zee-Yan (Ryan Bang) have decided to form a squad of ghost busters with their misfits buddies Bagang (Pepe Herrera), Ponzi (Lassy Marquez), and Basha (Moi Bien) in order to meet both ends.
One day, when they no longer have customers due to their modus going viral, Carmel meets a rich architect and dashing eligible bachelor Jack Colmenares (Enzo Pineda) who wants her and her squad to exorcize his house of all the ghosts inside it – real malevolent ghosts! – in exchange for a hefty amount of money.
Despite the fear, Carmel and Jeje together with their squad accept the job offer as their last act. Little do they know this will lead to all of them being entrapped inside Jack’s house with extremely pesky and spiteful ghosts, screaming and running for their lives, and with Carmel ultimately facing the horror of the truth long hidden from her.
"DOTGA" is directed by Tony Y. Reyes. Catch it in cinemas April 18!
