Dimples, never ginustong maging bida?

Actress Dimples Romana shared with Boy Abunda on his late-night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last night, April 9,  one of the hardest questions her daughter Callie has ever asked her: “Why are you not bida?”

The 33-year-old actress was honest with her daughter and said, “‘I don't know anak. But to tell you frankly, I'm okay where I am.’”

She furthered, “‘Sabi ko, ‘For the 21 years that I have been an actor, I have reached a point where I do not mind where I am, where I'll be, where I came from. What is important to me is my dream of being an actor is still very alive, because I'm still working.’"

Dimples revealed that the question was prompted by two awards she recently won for Best Supporting Actress before continuing what she told her 14-year-old daughter. The “Bagani” cast member shared that Callie was insistent that she should’ve won Best Actress, but she said, “‘I’m okay with Best Supporting Actress, I’m very happy with it.’”

When asked if she ever dreamed of getting a lead role, Dimples honestly answered, "No, I have never found myself praying to be a lead for any of my work.”

“My prayer every day is just that I will have work,” she continued. “If it will happen, then I will be grateful, I will embrace the challenge, but if it doesn't happen, it is still okay with my heart."

Dimples was also recently part of the Cathy Garcia-Molina film “My Perfect You” starring Gerald Anderson and Pia Wurtzbach. She currently plays Gloria on the primetime fantaserye “Bagani.”
