All the awe-inspiring stories from #JODIexplorer

When she’s not busy wowing us with her incredible talent in front of the camera, actress Jodi Sta. Maria enjoys traveling the world, immersing herself in different cultures and just basking in the beauty of creation.

Since the year started, she’s tagged all her travel photos with the hashtag #JODIexplorer, some with notes from her adventures intended to inspire others as she was on her trips.

Let’s look back on Jodi’s adventures, shall we?

Also from Turkey, Jodi contemplated the homes of past natives: “These structures in Goreme were made from deposits of volcano ash, lava and basalt. The soft tuff could easily be excavated, and people built homes and churches from it. What you are looking at is one of the dwelling complexes built 200 years ago!”

After getting suggestions from her fans, the “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” star shared this photo from Japan from a trip the previous year.

“We just finished our ikebana class and even got to wear a kimono in Kyoto,” she wrote in her caption. “It’s nice to immerse yourself in the culture of the country you’re visiting and learn something new.”

Jodi shared this piece of wisdom with this photo of a runway: “Some of us have great runways already built for us. If you have one, take off. But if you don’t, realize that it is your responsibility to grab a shovel and build one for yourself, and for those who will follow after you. — Amelia Earhart ✈️”

She’s sure got a lot of wise words and insight we can think about, huh?
