Michele Gumabao won the crown for Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2018, but long before that... she already won the heart of gym owner Aldo Panlilio!
The two, who make us jealous because of their lovey dovey Instagram posts, have so many things in common. They are travel buddies, food buddies, and each other's biggest fans.
Here are some more things we found out about them:
1. How they met
In a feature by ABS-CBN Sports last February 2017, they shared that they first met through Aldo's friend who set him up on a date with Michele in a restaurant in Pasig. They had a good conversation that night, and as Michele said, "We just kept talking. We talked everyday—as in, everyday until today!"
2. They are foodies
The two also love to bond over food.
Aldo said, "We eat wherever."
Meanwhile, Michele revealed that Aldo loves meat and they would frequent shabu-shabu and buffet places.
3. A "fit" combination
Aside from recently slaying the pageant world, Michele is known as a volleyball star since her college days. Aldo is a gym owner, and their common interest for fitness and healthy living is also a huge part of their relationship.
Michele said, "For us, fitness is our life and career na. Before Aldo put up his gym, he was a fitness enthusiast na. And me, siyempre volleyball so, sports talaga. And we bond over that a lot, we balance out our dates with dinner and working out. He does train me, although not regularly but whenever I’m free, dun talaga ako. He's super strict! Hindi nya ako girlfriend sa gym! He's on coach mode talaga!"
4. Adventure lovers
They are also big on travel! They share their travel photos on Instagram, tagging them as #PandaAdventures.
5. Supportive boyfie si Aldo
While Michele was busy preparing for the recent Binibining Pilipinas pageant, Aldo was also busy in the background, supporting his lady love.
In a post by Michele, she wrote, "My number 1 everything. Thank you!!! Mas stressed ka pa sakin all throughout the pageant."
Michele joined the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" as a celebrity housemate in 2014.
