"To be able to sit here, kahit na sinasabi nila na Star Music baby [ako], 'yung feeling na pinagkatiwalaan ka, iba 'yun," the singer humbly told members of the press.

He continued, "Kasi for how many years, iba't iba na 'yung nangyari sa life ko. Sa career, music-wise, everything. Pero until now, I'm still sitting in front of everybody here, [and with new] music coming up. I'm very happy."

As for his new music, Jake said that he's coming back to the classic OPM sound.

Jake was formerly known as Charice Pempengco. He came out as transexual last 2017.
