Everybody wants a whole new experience every time they enter the cinema for a horror film -- and "Devil's Gate" is definitely one that will satisfy that desire.
According to its director, Clay Staub, the concept of his suspense thriller is flipping the usual situation.
In a story by Hollywood Reporter last year, he said, "Our concept here is, simply, what if someone actually turned the tables on one of these interlopers and held them captive?"
Staub's previous movie production work includes "Dawn of the Dead," "300," and "Justice League". And for his first directorial job, Staub just know that it's going to soar.
"I knew right away when we were shooting ['Devil's Gate'], this is going to work. This is going to work," he said in an article by Elite Daily.
He also credited his cast for a great teamwork during filming. "I can't say enough for all of our cast. I mean, everybody gave a huge safety net to me on trust your instincts, and we went with it."
"Devil's Gate" stars "This Is Us" lead actor Milo Ventimiglia, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor Shawn Ashmore and "Suits" actress Amanda Schull. It opens in Philippine cinemas this March 7!
