Gerald Anderson and Pia Wurtzbach have developed pretty thick skins when it comes to handling bashers and judgers.
At the Media Launch of “My Perfect You” last March 10, the new love team shared that while they get hurt from comments, they’ve learned to quickly move forward from them.
Pia added that she’s learned not to cry over all the insults that are constantly hurled at her, and instead just focus on what her family and friends say.
If it comes from somebody I respect, then I should listen. But if it’s from somebody who just wants to throw stones at me… I’ll just choose to ignore it,” she said.
The pair also related that their characters Burn and Abi received their fair share of judgments, and part of the movie shows how they were able to overcome them.
“Maraming judgments, maraming rejections and failures, maraming pain… at sana dumating ‘yung tao na magbibigay ng happiness sa kanila,” Gerald said.
“My Perfect You” is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and produced by ABS-CBN Films, Star Cinema. It is showing in 200 cinemas nationwide.
