Toni, Rufa Mae na-miss si Ogie!
Kapamilya host Toni Gonzaga and comedienne-actress Rufa Mae Quinto are working with Ogie Alcasid again, and they are excited!

Rufa Mae and Ogie are new additions to the sitcom "Home Sweetie Home" which stars Toni. In a set visit to their taping last Tuesday, March 13, Toni and Rufa Mae talked about the good history they have with the singer-actor.

Toni has worked with Ogie years ago in a sitcom in another network, when she was still starting her showbiz career. Back then, she only had little roles in the skits. So, she was emotional that she gets to work with Ogie again.

She said, "Actually, na-emotional ako nung sinabi na makakasama ko si Kuya Ogie. Kasi I’m going to celebrate my 20th anniversary in the business next year. And 1999 was the very first time na na-experience kong magkaroon ng regular show, [and] si Kuya Ogie ang first time kong nakatrabaho sa isang gag show so parang nag-come full circle na makakatrabaho ko ulit siya ngayon sa isang sitcom na, alam mo 'yun, ka-dialogue ko na siya."

She added, "Dati dream [ko] lang 'yun [na] makasama si Kuya Ogie sa isang eksena or ka-dialogue [ko] siya. Ngayon, makaka-banter [ko] na siya."

Rufa Mae was also part of the same sitcom with Ogie before. "Nakaka-miss. Alam mo 'yun, last ko siya nakita, 2011, na naka-eksena. Tapos nagka-show siya dito [sa ABS-CBN] pero puro singing-singing. Kundi singing, judging, o hosting. So nakaka-miss," she said.

She also shared that because of their professional relationship years ago, they already get each other when cameras begin rolling. "Nakaka-miss palang magpatawa. Tapos kami [ni Ogie], 'pag lalabas kami kahit wala pa kaming line, tinginan lang kaming ganun, parang ano na [gets na]."

Catch Toni, Rufa Mae, and Ogie's comedic banters in "Home Sweetie Home" every Saturday after "TV Patrol Weekend".
