KC leads UN feeding programs in Marawi
KC Concepcion has recently flown to the liberated Marawi City to conduct feeding programs as the National Ambassador for the United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP).
According to a report by "Bandila" last night, March 13, KC visited Camp Bagong Amai Elementary School and provided food and aid for some of the survivors of the Marawi Siege, a five-month armed conflict between the Philippine government and the Maute terrorist group.
KC also took to her Instagram Stories yesterday, March 13, to urge everybody to continue helping the recovering city. Note that the Marawi siege was declared as ended October of 2017.
She said, "There are 49 new schools here in Marawi, and they're in need of kitchens and also supplies and also tables and chairs...so if there's anything you can donate, continue working for and helping Marawi."
