It’s time to put the rumors to rest, guys. There’s no beef between “The Significant Other” lead actresses Erich Gonzales and Lovi Poe, all the catfight happened only in front of the cam.
Director Joel Lamangan said it, Lovi cleared it, and now even leading man Tom Rodriguez did too.

At the film’s pocket conference last Tuesday, January 6, the former Kapamilya actor said what happened between the two women on the set was just an example of what 100% commitment to the job looks like.
“That's stuff you deal with at work. Parang issue lang siya sa labas, kasi sa set, I didn't feel [any tension]. It's part of the work. Especially sa scenes na emotional, 'di maiiwasan. You have to do it. Hindi mo pwedeng i-half lang, because the scene calls for it,” said Tom.
He added it may have looked like there was drama after the scene because the set got all quiet and some might have misinterpreted that.
"When you do an intense scene, everyone gets quiet. Pati ikaw you get sucked into the scene,” he shared.
But as things should go equal, Tom also got a taste of how that catfight scene felt like. Right on his cheeks.
"Both of them nakatikim ako sa kanila. Ang liit nila pareho pero, solid! Buti kargador ako!" he quipped.
“The Significant Other” follows the story of a rising fashion model (Erich) who catches up and becomes BFFs with her catwalk idol (Lovi). But all hell breaks lose when they realize that they are in love with the same man (Tom).
It’s coming to cinemas this February 21.
