“La Luna Sangre” star Daniel Padilla thanked his co-star Albert Martinez for everything he’s taught him during their time together on the fantaserye.
"Grabe si Tito A, minahal niya 'yung pagiging Prof. T niya rin talaga,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News. “Talagang minahal niya ang karakter na 'yun. And for that, nagpapasalamat po kami. Salamat sa opportunity na makatrabaho [ka].”
Albert played Prof. T on the show, the hands-on leader of the Moonchasers organization that Daniel’s character Tristan joined early on to fight bad vampires and protect mortals. The professor exited the show last February 23 after he was stopped by Tristan and Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) from launching rockets filled with the serum that could kill all the vampires and wolves.
Daniel, who has worked with Albert in the series “Princess and I” (2012), continues to be in awe of the veteran actor’s work ethic.
"Napaka-hands on na tao,” he said. “Lalo na sa show namin na ito, hindi pumapayag na basta-basta ang eksena. Kunwari, na-feel niya, 'Ano ang rason ng eksenang ito?' Malaking tulong 'yan sa akin kasi lagi ko siyang kasama. Ako rin natututo ako sa kanya. Hindi naman sa lahat ng eksena ay binabaril namin, pero hahanapin mo ang lalim ng eksena.”
“La Luna Sangre” is now on its final week.
