Maymay Entrata: A rising royalty
Maymay Entrata made everyone gasp, laugh, and be amazed at the many talents she showed last Friday, February 23, at her "The Dream" concert.

It was only last March when Maymay was hailed as the "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7" edition winner. She then went on to become a recording artist under Star Music, get a lead role in her debut film "Loving in Tandem," featured in several major magazine publications, become a TV actress in "La Luna Sangre", and more.

So when she staged "The Dream" -- her first solo concert, we felt like Maymay is truly destined to become great, a royalty even, in this industry.

With everything happening so fast for her, we want to dedicate this appreciation feature for Maymay for all the great things she's shown during "The Dream".

Let's start!

1. Backstage realness

Before a concert starts, you'd expect an artist to feel the nerves, but Maymay is one of those who keeps her chill.

Look at her being all dolled-up.

2. She can bop to Korean hits

It's no secret that Maymay has a love for Korean pop culture, and she showed it in her concert. In one of her opening acts, she danced and sang to K-Pop group 2NE1's "I am the Best" like the idol that she is.

3. She can carry a tune in acoustic

Our girl Maymay also showed her singing prowess in The Rey Valera classic "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko," and also in her very own "Shanawa," and "Kabaduyan"!

4. She can be a diva, in a good way!

Another surprise from Maymay was when she unleashed her inner diva with Jessie J's "Bang Bang" together with the four-member sister girl group 4th Impact.

Clap, clap!

5. Maymay shined with how she moved

Maymay, together with her special guest, Enchong Dee, danced to the tune of "Havana" by Camila Cabello, and our eyes were glued.

6. She can also go dramatic

Maymay is showing to be real versatile, with how she handled a lyrical dance with her adorable ka-love team Edward Barber.

See how dramatic she can go??

7. Grace, elegance...candid

For her finale song, she sang the Jordin Sparks hit "This Is My Now," and she looked every bit beautiful.

But Maymay still keeps her funny girl inside with snaps that go from this:

To this:

Maymay made her dreams come true - while also inspiring every one to achieve theirs. From the girl that we saw in the "Pinoy Big Brother" house, to the grown young lady we saw in Kia Theatre last Friday - we saw a diamond in the rough, with a promise to sparkle even more in the future.
