Sa pag-ibig, palaban ang women of 'Sin Island'!

How far will you go to fight for love?

That's the question the new film "Sin Island" dared its viewers to answer, and it's an evocative one. Not only is love a unifying subject, but fighting for it is something we can all relate to, even the two women who topbill the movie with Xian Lim — Coleen Garcia and Nathalie Hart — agree.

According to Coleen, she didn't believe in truly fighting for love until she found a love worth fighting for in her fiance Billy Crawford.

"Dati, ako lagi 'yung mabilis sumuko. Ako palagi 'yung tumatakbo, 'yung umaalis. Pero it's only now that I'm with the right person na I realize that as long as two people are willing to make it work, it will work," she said, during the movie's Grand Media Launch last February 12.

"Kahit ano pang kasalanan niyo sa isa't isa, basta pinili niyong ipaglaban ang isa't isa, ipaglaban 'yung pag-ibig niyo, it will definitely work," she added.

Nathalie, on the other hand, believes that fighting for love doesn't mean lowering her self-worth.

She explained, "I would fight for love but hindi ako magpapaka-martyr. Iba 'yung mentality ko diyan. Sa akin, if it's not working anymore, I'm not gonna fight for that love kasi it's not meant to be. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be."

However, Nathalie added, "Pero siguro kung he's fighting for me, of course, todo-todo na [ako diyan]! Magpakasal na kami bukas!"
