Kathryn Bernardo adds another reason for us to love her more.

And yesterday, February 22, in a report by "TV Patrol," Kathryn was officially appointed as the first ambassador of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. She was a member of GSP at the age of five.

Kathryn said that the we can find some of the values that we need in life in the Girl Scout Oath. "Being kind, being helpful, and 'yung sa oath, 'yung lahat ng sinasabi nun," she added, "Alam mo 'yun 'pag bata ka, you just memorize it, but then 'pag tumatanda ka, [mari-realize mo] na 'yun 'yung mga traits na kailangan mo i-possess."

According to Susan Lacson, National President of GSP, "Kathryn is very relevant for today, aside from that, she also has an advocacy."

The 21-year-old actress also has a campaign for the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), which encourages women not only to vote, but also to run as candidates for positions in barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

"I think it's important that you make a stand. Kung anong kaya ng lalaki, kaya din ng babae," she said.
