Erich Gonzales have lived under the spotlight for so long and people may think they know everything about her already, but there really is A LOT more to discover.
Her “The Significant Other” co-star Tom Rodriguez proved that on the set when he learned that the Kapamilya actress is… a Bisaya.
He has met before working on the film, but they really didn't have the chance to hang out. “Bisaya pala siya. We were on ‘ASAP’ together, mga gano’n. I would see her na magkakasama lahat ng talents when I was still here in ABS-CBN. Pero never kaming nabigyan ng opportunity na magkausap or magkasama sa isang trabaho,” he shared at the bloggers conference of “The Significant Other” last February 15.
Not having an actual bond served as a wall for the two at first, but once they got to talking and Tom found out Erich speaks the dialect, it was an instant connection.
“We were seeing each other always from a distance, parang gano’n pa ‘yung pakiramdam sa unang beses naming magkasama sa shooting. Pero once we were both speaking Bisaya, it was an immediate ice-breaker,” said the former Kapamilya actor.
He added, “You automatically saw the side of her na napaka-kalog, napakakulit, and ang sarap katrabaho. Sarap kasama din.”
Also starring Lovi Poe, “The Significant Other” follows the story of a rising fashion model (Erich) who catches up and becomes BFFs with her catwalk idol (Lovi). But all hell breaks loose when they realize that they are in love with the same man (Tom).
