The audience of "Singer 2018" seemed to have been blown away by the performance of our very own KZ Tandingan.
KZ came through in Week 6 of the Chinese singing competition, singing a medley in Mandarin, which secured her a spot as one of the official contestants.
She has mentioned in previous interviews that this specific performance was one of the most difficult things she's done in her career. In a story by PUSH today, February 20, KZ shared how intense her preparations were for the February 16 episode.
She said, "Meron din akong mga Mandarin coaches dun [sa China], dito din sa Pilipinas meron. So nung umuwi ako, meron din dito. Tapos pina-translate ko siya in English and Bisaya.
KZ ranked 6 in Week 6, but with her average score including her Week 5 performance, she was secured in the third spot overall.
The 25-year-old singer added, "Dahil nga natuwa sila, kanta daw uli ako ng Mandarin. Nawili!"
