Angeli writes heartfelt message for Kiana's friends JaDine, Sam + more
Today, February 19, Angeli Valenciano, the wife and manager of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, wrote a special thanks to the friends of their daughter Kiana Valenciano.

Angeli wrote, "Thank you to James Reid (@james) and Nadine Lustre (@nadine) for loving Kiana (@kianavee) so much. Bret Jackson (@bret.jackson), Andrei Suleik (@andreisuleik), Lauren Reid (@laurenreidabook)... You’re such sweet friends. Thank you to Sam Concepcion (@sam_concepcion) for being there for her always. And loving her too."

The celebrity mother then went on to explain that her kids, including Paolo Valenciano and Gab Valenciano, have been judged all their lives, and she's happy that Kiana found a friendship that just overflows with love.

"My kids have been bullied all their life in all kinds of ways and it has not been an easy life for them. For us. For being the children of a popular dad. So, when they are bashed for friendships they choose to keep, it is not alien to them but it hurts nonetheless. We will never have perfect friends but we do have a perfect God who gave them to us for a reason," she said.

Angeli continued, "So tonight I say a prayer for this sweet squad of friends who love each other so much and who celebrate each other’s milestones, struggles and victories so unselfishly and so unconditionally. God bless you all!  May God iron out the rough patches in your lives, as we are all, after all, works-in-progress and may He show you the clear path He has had in store for each of you from the day He created you all!"

She then expressed how much she and Gary have also grown to love the young "squad," saying, "Love you to the moon and back, Squad. Thank you from her father and me! No one said it was going to be easy. But with God, the best is always yet to come."
