#LLSBetrayal Scene of the Day: Malia takes a stand... against Tristan

Betrayals were uncovered on last Friday’s (February 9) episode of “La Luna Sangre.”

Sandrino (Richard Gutierrez) finally received confirmation that his brother Tristan (Daniel Padilla) has been betraying him and his plans. Soraya (Denise Laurel) told him of what Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) and the others from the LLU saw at the Hero’s Ball, how Tristan helped them defeat the vampires, and it shook the Supremo to his core.

In other betrayal news, Soraya’s not as sly as she thinks because Miriam (Erika Padilla) quickly caught on to her suspicious actions. After witnessing how members of Soraya’s group gave vampires meaningful looks and how they didn’t even attempt to attack, Miriam deduced that she must have some connection to Sandrino. She conferred with Baristo (Joross Gamboa), Gael (Bryan Santos), and Jethro (Dino Imperial) and together concluded that Soraya must have set up Vergel (Paolo Rivero) and Tasha’s (Garie Concepcion) deaths and her wounds were just for show.

And, in addition to the betrayals, Jake (Tony Labrusca) was heartbroken when he confessed his love to Malia again, only to be put in the friendzone once again. (Poor Jake :( )

But none of these is our scene of the day! No, our lucky winner is more… heart-wrenching. Tristan finally faced Malia after she found out about his plan. This is our scene of the day and here’s why:

  • The way Tristan appeared after Malia demanded it (Bilis sumunod, ha.) (But it’s better than eavesdropping on a love confession that ended in tears!)
  • How she asked him why he’s doing this, why he’s treating them as if they're the enemy when both of them want to end Sandrino’s reign of evil (Huhuhu she sounds like she’s lost her partner for good *cries*)
  • The way he said it wasn’t a question of who’s good and who’s bad anymore because the war between their kinds results in the deaths of innocent people (he does have a point… This has been a really, really, really long war, huh)
  • How he said peace could only be achieved if all vampires and wolves were gone from the world (Tristan, that’s still genocide!!)
  • The sadness in Malia’s voice when she asked if he could kill innocent vampires and wolves (stay strong, girl!!)
  • How hard Tristan’s voice was when he said he would if it’s necessary (HUHUHU TRISTAN WHAT HAVE YOU BECOME *SOBS*)
  • The way he said her decision not to kill resulted in a never-ending war over who should rule over the world (Hey! It’s not her fault!)
  • How Malia dared him to kill her first in the war he wants so badly (Uy, Malia, ‘wag!)
  • The way she took his hand and placed it around her neck, saying, “Gawin mo na! Hindi kita lalabanan. Sige na - patayin mo na ‘ko! Gawin mo!” (OHMYGOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!)
  • The disbelieving look on Tristan’s face (AYAN KASI!)

Malia’s so brave. ;(

What will Malia do about Tristan’s plan? And how will Sandrino deal with the newest traitor in his camp? Catch the last three weeks of “La Luna Sangre” weeknights Primetime Bida after “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
