As a veteran in the biz, Ara Mina knows exactly how young stars should behave and have the right attitude to secure their place in the industry.
In an episode of "Magandang Buhay" earlier today, December 5, Ara recognized these good traits in her "Araw Gabi" co-star Barbie Imperial.
"Napaka-cowboy ni Barbie," the actress related. "Hindi siya maarte. Kunwari may pagkain kami sa set, sasabihin niya 'Masarap 'to, ate?' Eh, 'yung iba 'Can I have a fork? Very cowboy."
She furthered, "Tsaka totoong tao siya hindi siya pabebe."
Ara also shared how caring Barbie is as a daughter and as a sister when the younger star wasn't able to contact her family one time while they were on the set.
"Hindi na siya mapakali. Nakikita ko 'yung sarili ko sa kanya na family-oriented siya. Mahal niya 'yung family niya. Pati kuya niya, barkada niya. Tapos very close sila ng mommy niya. At nakikita ko na very strong siya like me."
She also liked how Barbie remained very thoughtful of her even after "Araw Gabi" ended last October.
"Recently lang, tinext niya ako, 'Kailan ang balik mo? I need you, Ate."
Barbie was cast in "Love Me Tomorrow" with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta. Ara, meanwhile, joined Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil in "My Ex and Whys" last 2017.
