Working for the first time with a different leading man, Kathryn Bernardo admitted how she felt extremely awkward acting opposite her "Three Words to Forever" co-star Tommy Esguerra.
On the latest episode of "Tonight with Boy Abunda" Kathryn stressed how she handled her new role and the demands that came along with it.
"To be honest umiyak ako kay Direk Cathy (Garcia-Molina)," she related. "Sa Ormoc kasi lock-in kami dun. Ang daming adjustments sa kasama. Wala si DJ (Daniel Padilla), iba ang ka-partner. Feeling ko 'pag iba 'yung kaakap ko, iba 'yung kini-kiss ko, sabi ko 'parang mali' feeling ko may kasalanan ako kasi I'm not used to that."
Kathryn also addressed what she was most afraid of.
"Takot ako kung ano’ng magiging reaction ng mga tao. Takot ako kung ano’ng magiging reaction ni DJ. Kasi ako sa sarili ko kapag may iba na siyang partner, hindi ko na rin alam kung anong mafe-feel ko,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kathryn understands that they both need to grow as actors, and that being paired with other people is not something necessarily bad - it’s something they could do to improve their craft.
Kathryn and Daniel starred in the 2018 blockbuster romance "The Hows of Us".
"Three Words to Forever" is now showing in 250 cinemas nationwide.
