In an exclusive chat last Friday, November 30, Sharon Cuneta shared her advice to millennials and parents who are in the same situation as her character and Kathryn Bernardo's character in "Three Words to Forever".
"Sana [ang] mapulot nila sa movie is to not be afraid to open up to the people that love you the most because they will give you... advice that you will not like initially but it will always be the best advice for you," the Megastar shared.
She also stressed the difference of getting advice from friends and parents.
"Ang magulang kapag nakinig ka, dugo at laman ang puhunan sa'yo."
She furthered, "I hope the millennials will see just like in ‘Unexpectedly Yours,’ na it's communication between husband and wife, mother and father, especially mother and daughter. "
Speaking not only to the younger audience, Sharon sent her sentiments to her fellow parents as well.
"Open your hearts, not just your mind, and your ears, to your children. We're older than our children, we can't expect them to come up to our level. We have to go down to theirs because they're younger,” she said.
In the end, Sharon admitted that she often finds herself saying sorry to her children with husband Kiko Pangilinan.
"Hindi porket mas matanda ka, lagi kang tama,” she said.
"Three Words to Forever" is now showing in 250 cinemas nationwide.
