He has a smile that's hard to resist, a body that promises warmth, and a charm that seems so natural - Enchong Dee is one of the few actors who can effortlessly combine drama and comedy in movies.
And as he celebrates his birthday, today, November 5, let's revisit some of his adorable Star Cinema moments that will make you smile all day.
Enchong’s first lead movie role was Lance Tan in the 2010 film “I Do” alongside his on-screen partner Erich Gonzales. As a son in a Chinese family, Lance was torn between marrying Mayumi for their love and for their baby, and following his family’s wishes by marrying a Chinese girl.
In 2012, he played Lloyd Alvarado in the teen rom-com film “The Reunion.” A hopeless romantic, he was completely in love with Ara (Cristine Reyes) in high school and was devastated when she broke things off. It was only years later, and after looking for Ara again, that he realized he loved his best friend Ali (Jessy Mendiola) and chased her through an airport just to tell her.
Captain America, pasok!
"The Reunion" also stars Enrique Gil, Kean Cipriano, Xian Lim, Megan Young, Bangs Garcia, Julia Montes, and more.
"Four Sisters and a Wedding"
Who can forget when he played CJ Salazar, the youngest and the only boy his sisters Teddy (Toni Gonzaga), Bobbie (Bea Alonzo), Alex (Angel Locsin), and Gabbie (Shaina Magdayao) wanted to "protect" him from marrying his fiancee, Princess Antoinette Mae Bayag (Angeline Quinto).
Here's Enchong's famous line that you can use in case you want to convince your folks to finally let you see the world.
"Hindi na ako baby! I'm a grownup now making grown-up decisions! At sana maging ganoon din kayo."
Happy birthday, Enchong!
